I have been living in Japan for over 20 years. Before I came here, I worked in well known restaurants in London, Key West, Florida, and Sydney. What can I say ? I fell in love with Japanese food, I always wondered, how come it is so healthy and still so delicious. I learned everything about the fish and sushi from my Japanese family. After seeing so many foreign tourists never see the ‘real’ local culture that the Osaka locals experience everyday. I don’t want to say it was my duty. Doesn’t that sound a bit corny ? Sincerely it has became my passion to show my guests on our tours not only incredible Japanese cuisine but also the local history and how Japanese people connect with their surroundings. We include the drinks, because they have so many unusual drinks that we don’t have but the we also take you to local shops that have been in business for over 100 years. Osaka has arguably the best Chef’s knives in the world and we have arranged for the local shop in Shinsekai to give you a wonderful presentation in native English. There are too many other things that we include for free in all our tours. We will share those with you on the day of your tour.
